Recently, the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (Ministry of Science and Technology) has granted the "Registration Certificate for experimental operation" to Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center - under Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute for multidisciplinary synthetic testing activities in the fields of chemistry and biology.

This is the recognition of State management for service business in the experimental field of Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center Branch under Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute.

With this certification, Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center can carry out service business activities in the field of chemical and biological testing on rice and rice products... in accordance with the provisions under Decree 107 /2016/ND-CP, dated July 1st, 2016 on business requirements for conformity assessment services in Vietnam.

This is also the basis for Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center to register the operation of the Chemistry Laboratory according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.

Currently, Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center fully meets the conditions for doing business in experimental services according to regulations, with staff trained on "General awareness according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 general requirements for competence of testing and calibration laboratories".

The branch has skilled testers, the laboratory is equipped with a system of machines, equipment, testing and measuring instruments in accordance with the provisions of law and suitable in the relevant field of  testing.

The Center's laboratory is also requesting the Accreditation Office to recognize the quality management system according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standards.

The Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center has been granted certificates by state management agencies, proving its ability in the field of chemical and biological testing, enhancing the prestige of Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute in particular and Loc Troi Group in general to agencies, partners and customers.

Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute was officially established on July 6th, 2020 with the foundation of agricultural research centers and R&D departments of Loc Troi Group.

In particular, the branch of Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center (DTARC), established in 2012, is the first large-scale research center in the field of agriculture in Vietnam operating under a private company.

Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute currently has member units, branches including Dinh Thanh Agricultural Research Center (DTARC), Da Lat Agricultural Research Center (DALARC), Tropical Vegetable Research, Fertilizer and Plant Nutrition Research Department, Technical Department, Food Research and Development Department, Science - Cooperation Department and functional departments.

Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute has researched, selected and developed many new rice varieties, built and promulgated standard farming procedures on rice, in accordance with the requirements of high level markets such as the US, Japan, Europe... and many farming processes on other crop groups.

This is also the unit that created the LT28 variety - Thien Vuong Rice, voted global best rice in 2018, at the Mainland Rice Trade Conference, China. The Institute is also the first and last responsible unit for the world's only perfect 100 SRP points for 2 years (2020 - 2021) on 4 consecutive crops.

From the end of 2020, Loc Troi Agricultural Research Institute hosted "Loc Troi Scientific Coffee" with leading domestic and international scientists, held quarterly, to exchange and find solutions, initiatives to contribute to the development of Vietnam's agriculture.

Loc Troi Group - reputable rice exporter for 3 consecutive years

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 1974/QD-BCT approving the list of prestigious export enterprises of 2020. Accordingly, Loc Troi Group is recognized as one of the 27 prestigious rice exporters. This is the third year in a row Loc Troi Group made the list of prestigious export enterprises of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

In 2020, Loc Troi Group had many contributions in the Vietnam's rice export field. In particular, on September 22nd, 2020, Loc Troi Group was selected by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Industry and Trade as the first Vietnamese enterprise to export a shipment of 126 tons of fragrant rice to the European market according to the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA), signed in August 2020 after nearly 10 years of negotiations.

Over the past years, rice products by Loc Troi Group have been exported to more than 20 countries on many continents such as Europe, America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, etc., contributing to increasing the value of Vietnam rice brand and to the country's rice export turnover.

The list of prestigious exporters of 2020 includes 315 enterprises in 26 categories, selected by the Ministry of Industry and Trade based on proposals from 60 agencies and organizations (including ministries, branches and industry associations, provincial and city departments of industry and trade).

The enterprises on this list are those that meet the criteria set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade on the minimum export turnover, on business reputation for foreign customers, on the observance of obligations in the field of customs, tax, environment ...

Currently, Loc Troi is the leading agricultural enterprise in Vietnam with a rice cultivation area of ​​over 1 million hectares, owning the copyright of the key rice variety OM5451 for export, has a research institute with 7 affiliated research centers and the capacity to organize large-scale production (1,300 agricultural engineers “3 Together”), meeting the strictest criteria such as BRC, SMETA, HACCP, HALAL,... American, Japanese, European standards.

Loc Troi Group is also the first and only unit in the world to achieve 100 perfect points for farming processes in accordance with international sustainable standards SRP…
