Natural ingredients used in organic cosmetics.
In addition to organic food, other organic products, especially organic cosmetics, are increasingly attracting the attention of consumers due to their many superior benefits for health and the environment.
Recognizing consumer demand and contributing to the enhancement of the value of Vietnamese medicinal herbs, many companies are researching, producing, and bringing to market natural, safe, vegan, and environmentally friendly personal care products.
In line with this trend, in recent years, Bio Health has employed advanced technology to produce organic personal care products using natural ingredients such as centella, prickly pear cactus, ginger, loofah powder, betel leaves, black tea, pandan leaves, basil, peppermint, and sage.
At a recent event showcasing Bio Health’s organic products, Mr. Nguyen Anh Hien, Director of BIOMEQ, shared that organic cosmetics, extracted from natural ingredients, are free from harmful chemicals, offering significant benefits to consumers. These benefits include high safety, gentle long-term use, soothing and relaxing effects on the body, as well as reducing the risk of skin irritation and other health issues. Organic cosmetics also provide essential nutrients for the skin, hair, and body, supporting the regeneration and recovery of the body’s functions.
To successfully produce organic cosmetics from plants, Bio Health has applied modern herbal science with active organic ingredients. Specifically, Bio Health has inherited traditional knowledge on the use of nutrients and medicinal properties from plants like soapberries, betel leaves, centella, ginger, and prickly pear cactus. These ingredients are combined with green extraction technology and exclusive nano technology. These innovative methods help preserve the natural nutrients, eliminate impurities, and optimize absorption, all without the need for chemical additives or synthetic fragrances, thus contributing to environmental protection.
Through the combination of traditional knowledge and modern technology, Bio Health has been able to create a variety of organic cosmetics and personal care products that are gaining increasing popularity among consumers. These include natural shampoo and soap made from soapberries, mouthwash, hygiene foam, and herbal soap made from betel leaves, facial wash gel and acne treatment gel from prickly pear cactus, ginger shampoo, organic toothpaste made from ginger charcoal and peppermint tea, herbal shower gel made from centella, conditioner made from coconut oil, and antibacterial herbal medicine from sage leaves.
Mr. Nguyen Anh Hien further shared, "Vietnam has abundant medicinal plant resources spread across the country. Both cultivated and wild ingredients benefit from the natural advantages in quality and quantity. This is a great advantage for Vietnam as the world increasingly shifts to green practices and the use of herbal medicines. We are proud to be able to help enhance the value and economic potential of traditional medicinal herbs, a rich and renewable resource".
