Boehringer Ingelheim Vietnam recently organized its first VAXXITEK symposium and introduced the VAXXITEK® HVT + IBD + ND poultry vaccine. This vaccine represents Vietnam's first vector vaccine against three diseases with a single dose: Marek's disease, Gumboro disease, and Newcastle disease.

The vaccine technology prioritizes the balance between effectiveness and safety. This equilibrium plays a crucial role in the final vaccine product. Consequently, in addition to providing safety for poultry and the environment, the vaccine's disease-prevention mechanisms must be suitable for all breeds of poultry  and a variety of agricultural environments.

The vaccine product has demonstrated efficacy in immunizing healthy chicken embryos between 18 and 19 days old and day-old chicks, thereby providing resistance against common diseases and complications caused by Marek's, Gumboro, and Newcastle diseases.

The vaccine is a breakthrough in immunization at hatcheries worldwide. Namely, it provides a robust immune foundation and optimizes resistance against the aforementioned diseases.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung, Director of the Poultry Division at Boehringer Ingelheim Vietnam, shared, "Poultry meat is the second most important protein source for the Vietnamese consumers. The 3-in-1 poultry vaccine allows us to collaborate with farmers as part of a disease prevention movement to ensure the quality of food supplied to domestic consumers. With this advanced vaccine and our vaccination team, we provide farmers with optimal solutions to control the three most important diseases in poultry farming."
