Lam Dong in need of consuming over 100 million flower affected by Covid-19

(VAN) Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade states that the complicated development of Covid-19 has adversely affected the consumption of agricultural products in the area such as flowers, avocados, macadamia nuts, etc.

According to Lam Dong Department of Industry and Trade, the province is cultivating 100ha of chrysanthemums; 158ha of single chrysanthemums; 208ha of roses; 68ha of gerbera; 82ha of carnations; 7ha of lily flowers; 22 hectares of auspicious flowers and 16 hectares of salem flowers.

Per estimation, the output of flowers and fruits in the province in need of consumption support due to impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is more than 100 million flowers; 130 tons of avocados and macadamia nuts.

Of which, 30 million chrysanthemum are sold for 6,000 VND/5 branches; 40 million single chrysanthemum at 15,000VND/10 branches; 14 million roses at 30,000 VND/50 branches; 6 million gerbera at 10 thousand dong/20 branches; 1 million lily flower at 30,000 VND/5 stems; 9 million carnation at 15 thousand VND/20 branches; 220,000 kg of auspicious flowers at 30,000 VND/kg; 9,000kg of salem flowers at 10 thousand VND/kg.

Additionally, Lam Dong also has 30 tons of packaged macadamia nuts, priced at 260,000 VND/kg and 100 tons of booth avocados, priced at 15,000 VND/kg.
