Driven by a long-standing commitment to the sustainable development of Vietnam's shrimp industry and the goal of making Vietnam a leader in scientific and technological innovation for shrimp production, GrowMax Group, the only Vietnamese shrimp feed brand, was established in June 2020.

This brand is the result of the combined efforts and intellectual contributions of over 400 scientists, experts, engineers, and skilled technicians with more than 20 years of experience in the research, application, and production of shrimp feed, shrimp breeding, and biological products. These individuals also possess expertise and experience in high-tech shrimp farming domestically and internationally.

With the motto "Quality Creates Trust," GrowMax Group has, after more than three years of development, established itself as the "Highest Quality Shrimp Feed Brand in Vietnam" in terms of appearance, color, taste, ADG growth rate, and FCR conversion rate. It stands as a significant Vietnamese brand in the global shrimp feed market and a source of pride for the Vietnam's shrimp industry.

The recognition of CEO Mai Van Hoang as "Asia Excellent Leader 2024" highlights his significant contributions to Vietnam's shrimp industry as well as his success in building and developing a Vietnamese shrimp feed brand.

As the leader of GrowMax Group, Mai Van Hoang pioneered the creation of several functional shrimp feed products with effective disease prevention and treatment properties, such as Specific EHP for the prevention and treatment of Enterocytozoon hepatopenaei (EHP) and Specific TPD for the prevention and treatment of Translucent post-larvae disease (TPD).

Additionally, he developed, supported, and transferred the high-tech water recirculation shrimp farming process and the GrowMax biosafe high-tech shrimp farming model to domestic and international farmers free of charge.

The high-tech water recirculation shrimp farming process and the GrowMax biosafe farming model has helped numerous farmers achieve successive shrimp harvests and reduce investment costs by approximately 25-30%. Notably, these solutions enabled the reuse of water for new farming cycles.

After three years on the market, GrowMax Group reached a production output milestone of 360,000 tons by the end of 2023, surpassing 16 long-standing foreign shrimp feed brands in Vietnam to become one of the top three shrimp feed producers in the country in terms of production output and market share.

With the motto "Quality Creates Trust," GrowMax Group's CEO Mai Van Hoang aims to promote the Group's development by winning consumer trust in the future, thereby enhancing the position and image of Vietnam's shrimp industry on the international stage.

ASEAN Outstanding Leader 2024

The Asia Business Center, in collaboration with several other international organizations, hosted the Vietnam - ASEAN Economic Cooperation Forum and the 8th ASEAN Strong Brands Award Ceremony. The events were held on the afternoon of April 20 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

Accordingly, the Center coordinated with domestic and international organizations to evaluate and honor businesses and entrepreneurs for developing industry-leading brands, goods, and services based on international quality standards. These high-quality products have earned the trust of investors, partners, and consumers in the ASEAN market.

The Forum Organizing Committee also awarded the title of "ASEAN Outstanding Leader 2024" to Mai Van Hoang, CEO of GrowMax Group, who spearheaded the establishment of the first Vietnamese shrimp feed brand in the world.

The GrowMax high-tech recirculating shrimp farming process is being applied with great effectiveness by shrimp farmers domestically and internationally. As a result, this model should be encouraged and replicated to address the the ongoing decline and depletion of freshwater resources.

CEO Mai Van Hoang, in collaboration with experts at GrowMax, is reportedly enhancing safety measures in high-tech shrimp farming to prevent diseases with the implementation of the "High-tech biosafe shrimp farming process."

GrowMax currently stands as a key producer and supplier of various shrimp industry essentials, including feed, shrimp seed and biological products. The company also provides advanced technical solutions for shrimp farming, processing and export activities.
