Dr. Emmanuell Soubeyran, Head of the French Veterinary Agency, along with a delegation including Ms. Marion Chaminade, Counselor for Agriculture and Food at the French Embassy in Vietnam, Mr. Kazi Ahmed Kabir, an axpert from the CIRAD Organization, and Associate Professor Dr. Truong Dinh Hoai, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Fisheries at the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, visited two caged aquaculture farms along the Red River.

After observing two models of tilapia and lentil fish farming, as well as traditional fish farming in earthen ponds, the delegation visited the VMC Laboratory Testing and Diagnosis Center. There, they learned about testing and diagnostic activities, as well as the center's role in supporting healthcare, disease prevention, and treatment for local aquaculture subjects.

The delegation also toured the aquatic veterinary medicine factory of VMC Laboratory in Duy Tien town, Ha Nam province, to gain insight into product research and development activities and quality management practices adhering to GMP - WHO standards. The factory produces supplementary food products and antibiotics for treating livestock, poultry, and aquatic animal diseases.

Dr. Emmanuell Soubeyran and the delegation members provided positive feedback on Vietnam's production capacity and scientific research cooperation in the field of veterinary and aquatic medicine, emphasizing the collaboration among businesses, experts, and universities in Vietnam.

According to Dr. Emmanuell Soubeyran, such constructive cooperation will enhance competitiveness, drive business development, and promote sustainable growth in Vietnam's livestock and aquaculture industries.
