First shipment of 'Thieu' lychee arrives in Japan

(VAN) The first shipment of 'Thieu' lychee exported to Japan by air arrived in Japan on May 23rd.

The first shipment of "thieu" lychee exported by Ameii Vietnam Joint Stock Company, left for Japan at the night of May 22 and arrived in Japan  in the morning of May 23. This is the first shipment of  Vietnamese "thieu" lychee exported to Japan in 2021.

According to Hai Duong News, representative of Ameii Vietnam Joint Stock Company shared  in the evening of May 23 that the company continued to export the second shipment of "thieu" lychee to this market.

Next, as planned and required from the Japanese partner, the company will export 5 tons of Thanh Ha "thieu" lychee to Japan everyday as from May 25.

Since 2020, Japan officially approved import of  fresh Vietnamese lycheee. Ameii Vietnam Joint Stock Company  is one of the successful exporters of lychee to the Japanese market. In 2020, the company exported about 30 tons of lychee to Japan.

In the 2021 crop, in addition to exporting about 300 tons of "thieu" lychee to Japan, the company plans to export from 7,00-1,000 tons of lychee to other markets such as Singapore, US, Australia, etc.

Thanh Ha "thieu" lychee received the geographical indication from the Ministry of Science and Technology's National Office of Intellectual Property in 2007 and was chosen by Vietnam Standard and Consumers Association as a prestigious product for several consecutive years.
