Doubling the loan sales of the Credit Program for agriculture

(VAN) The credit program for the forestry and fisheries sector under the State Bank (SBV) in Document 5631/NHNN-TD has increased to VND 30,000 billion.

The State Bank of Vietnam has just issued Official Dispatch 1813/NHNN-TD on implementing the credit program for the forestry and fisheries sector according to the guidance of the State Bank in Document 5631/NHNN-TD.

Accordingly, the credit program for the forestry and fisheries sector will continue to be implemented and ends when loan turnover reaches VND 30,000 billion. Thus, the credit program for the forestry and fishery products sector has been doubled in credit scale. Previously, in Document 5631/NHNN-TD that the State Bank issued on July 14, 2023, the credit scale of the Program was about VND 15,000 billion.

The State Bank recommends banks: Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam, LPBank, Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Military Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Asia Commercial Bank, Nam A Bank, Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank, Eximbank, Ban Viet Commercial Joint Stock Company, Saigon-Hanoi Commercial Joint Stock Bank to increase the scale of participation in the Program by 2 times compared to the initial amount registered to participate in the Program according to Official Dispatch 5631/NHNN-TD.
