“With the support from De Heus, through Hung Nhon Group, Vietnam's livestock industry, has gradually affirmed its position in the field of high-tech agricultural production. Typically is the appearance of a chain of agricultural complexes applying high technology DHN in the Central Highlands provinces," said Mr. Hoan.
Chairman of Tay Ninh provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Ngoc, highly appreciated De Heus's efforts in blowing a "new wind" to local livestock industry to the province since it is selected by De Heus and Hung Nhon as one of the localities to carry out the Bel Ga investment project.
Mr. Ngoc pledged to make all efforts to create favorable conditions for De Heus to invest in the province. At the same time, provincial leaders and functional agencies are also ready to support businesses as soon as possible if they face difficulties in the investment process. Thereby, it is hoped that Tay Ninh will become an attractive, safe and effective investment destination for businesses, including De Heus.
Mr. Vo Van Phi, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee, said that Dong Nai has built a livestock development plan by 2025, in which it is noted about issues in raising the quality of livestock production activities, environmental protection, veterinary and slaughter control, building the most suitable linkages. he provincial People's Committee will create all conditions for the group to expand investment in Dong Nai.
At a meeting with Vinh Long province, the two leaders of De Heus were also warmly welcomed by leaders of the provincial People's Committee. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Lu Quang Ngoi, Chairman of the Committee, said that Vinh Long are advocatively calling for businesses to invest in strategic projects to develop agriculture and rural development in response to climate change.
"Vinh Long's agricultural development strategy is in line with the strengths of De Heus and Hung Nhon, especially in the field of value chain production, helping local people and businesses to develop together," said Mr. Ngoi.
The two leaders of De Heus pledged to give maximum support to Vietnam's livestock industry.
Mr. Koen De Heus said businesses could only grow when they have a good relationship with farmers. De Heus's working philosophy is to do things in which it has strengths, and De Heus's strength is livestock industry, so we will give the best support to the farmers.
Doing the best to help farmers, and others is the core value for the business to develop, according to Mr. Koen De Heus.
Gabor Fluit, General Director of De Heus Asia, said that to help farmers get out of small-scale and move to a larger scale production, large capital, technology and techniques are required. To solve that, De Heus and the Vietnamese agricultural sector share the same goal.
De Heus looks forward to working with ministries and localities to support farmers more. The goal is to help them access and apply advanced and modern technologies and jointly find cost-saving solutions and increase profits for them, said Mr. Gabor Fluit.
As a strategic partner of De Heus in Vietnam, Mr. Vu Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Hung Nhon Group, said that De Heus's business strategy is not to compete with farmers but accompany, cooperate and support them. This is the reason why Hung Nhon "shakes hands" with De Heus through the chain of high-tech agricultural complexes DHN in the Central Highlands provinces.
“In the near future, De Heus and Hung Nhon will continue to cooperate in expanding and developing a network of large-scale pig breeding projects and building disease-free areas in 5 provinces in the Central Highlands region. After the project in Lam Dong, Dak Lak and Gia Lai, we will deploy in Dak Nong and Kon Tum," Mr. Hung said.
