On the afternoon of April 10, the Dak Lak OCOP Council announced the provincial-standard products for 2024 after 2 days of evaluation and ranking.
After reviewing 22 products from 11 entities across 6 localities, the Dak Lak provincial OCOP Council selected 17 products for this round of OCOP product ranking.
Among them, 15 products scored from 78.66 to 83.54 points, recognized as 4-star products. Particularly, 2 potential 5-star products are Kien Cưong civet coffee from Kiên Cường Co., Ltd. (Buon Ma Thuot city) with 95.64/100 points and premium Dak Lak macadamia nuts from Damaca Nguyên Phương Joint Stock Company (Krông Năng district) with 100/100 points.
For the 4-star products, the Dak Lak provincial OCOP Council will propose to the provincial People's Committee for approval and recognition. As for the 2 potential 5-star products, the Council will advise the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to submit them to the central OCOP Council for evaluation and ranking.
Currently, Dak Lak has 237 OCOP products (an increase of 152 products compared to 2022), including 223 products rated 3 stars and 14 products rated 4 stars. With the 17 products recognized in this round, Dak Lak will have 31 OCOP 4-star products."
