Customs clearance resumes early enabling shipment of hundreds of agricultural containers during Tet

According to Lang Son's competent agencies, the Huu Nghi international border gate and Tan Thanh sub-border gate reopened for operation at 9 a.m. on February 3 or the third day of Tet (4 days earlier than previously announced by Ping Xiang town). From February 3 to February 6, daily customs clearance hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Lang Son stated that there were a total of 822 pending trucks transporting exported products as of 8 a.m. on February 4.

On February 3, a total of 93 vehicles engaged in export and import activities for custom clearance at the Huu Nghi international border gate, comprising 92 vehicles delivering fruits for export and one vehicle bringing imported cargo.

The total number of vehicles requiring customs clearance at the Huu Nghi international border gate till 8:00 a.m. on February 4 was 457, including 443 fruit trucks and 14 other cargo trucks.

Meanwhile, the total number of export and import vehicles cleared at the Tan Thanh sub-border gate on February 3 was 23, all of which were agricultural trucks.

There were 363 pending vehicles at this border crossing till 8 a.m. on February 4 in the Bao Nguyen parking lot. There were 293 trucks transporting fruit and vegetables (14 trucks transported in hot containers, 279 trucks transported in refrigerated containers); 67 trucks transporting agricultural products (chili, cassava chips, lotus seeds, bamboo leaves, palm leaf bones, black heather...); and 3 trucks transporting other goods (baskets, flour, ...).
