This is the second year in a row that Cargill Vietnam has been honored in the TOP50 CSA program organized by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine to select typical businesses in implementing a sustainable development strategy, committing to green growth, and fulfilling responsibilities to the community.
This program aims to raise awareness in the private business community about the role, meaning, and importance of sustainable business, as well as fostering and raising awareness about private enterprises' contributions to the development and maintenance of sustainable business.
Cargill Vietnam's persistent and sincere efforts in sustainable development and social responsibility have helped the company achieve this prestigious award for the second time. This is a testament to the company's steadfast commitment to sustainable development, responsible business, contribution to the community, and upholding the example of an active FDI enterprise in Vietnam.
In addition to the program to build schools for the community, in November 2022, Cargill Vietnam cooperated with CARE International to implement the project "Strengthening yourself". Not only that, but Cargill Vietnam also always acts promptly as a socially responsible enterprise in the country's challenging times. During the pandemic period, the company contributed about VND 4 billion to the COVID-19 relief fund of the Government of Vietnam. This action again demonstrates Cargill Vietnam's commitment to contribute to the community's sustainable development, even in the face of many challenges.
“We are extremely proud and honored to be once again named in the Top50 CSA 2023,” said Luan. “This award is a well-deserved encouragement and recognition for Cargill's efforts to positively impact the lives and livelihoods of farmers, rural communities and the environment in Vietnam. We are dedicated to working with partners, farmers and stakeholders to promote sustainable development and create shared value. It is also at the heart of Cargill's commitment to sustainable business practices, community empowerment, and especially Cargill's mission to nurture the world in a safe, responsible and sustainable way".
