Can Tho City People’s Committee have certified seven local products are qualified for One Commune - One Product (OCOP) standards, bringing the total OCOP products of the city to 11.
Of the new OCOP products, one is Kim Nhien Tea of Kim Nhien Agriculture Products processing Ltd Company in Thoi Hung Commune, Co Do District.
Other products are in Thot Not District including Ut Anh dried catfish, Ut Anh marinated dried catfish, Ut Anh fish sauce of Chuong Van Khanh, Idol longan of Tan Loc Fruit Co-operative, Ms Diep’s fermented guava juice and rice of Duy Duc Hung Ltd Company.
The products are certificated based on criteria of OCOP programme that Prime Minister approved in August last year. The programme aims to promote typical local products in communes/ trade villages in Viet Nam.
