The National Agricultural Extension Center under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Super Truong Phat Plastic Group Joint Stock Company (Super Truong Phat) held a cooperation signing ceremony on September 16 with the aim of strengthening cooperation in constructing models, training, information dissemination, technology transfer, consulting services, experienc sharing regarding HDPE technology in order to develop sustainable marine farming, improve qualifications, and boost beconomic efficiency for farmers and producers through the agricultural extension system.
At the signing ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Binh, General Director of the Company said that through sharing and exchanging development orientations between the two units, Super Truong Phat wishes to accompany the National Agricultural Extension Center in the development roadmap.
“Vietnam has many businesses dedicated to the field of aquaculture, with special attention to the field of marine farming, such as Super Truong Phat. And in support of these businesses, there is always the companionship, and aid of the National Agricultural Extension Center", said Ms. Nguyen Thi Hai Binh.

According to Mr. Le Quoc Thanh, Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center, the Center has the important task of bringing products of advanced science and technology to serve production, with special focus on the agricultural production of farmers across the country.
Mr. Thanh said that the agricultural extension force consists of at least 30,000 people. With the tasks and responsibilities assigned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, this is the force that brings new technologies, solutions, processes and advances to agricultural producers.
Technological advancements are currently not limited to only institutes and universities, but also in businesses. Businesses can import technologies, convert them to suit Vietnam as well as the business.

“Through activities and general evaluation, Super Truong Phat has established a brand and reputation with producers, especially in the application of HDPE plastic products in marine farming. The National Agricultural Extension Center always appreciates the initiatives and companionship of businesses like Super Truong Phat in the development of agriculture and marine farming in particular", said Mr. Thanh.
Accordingly, the cooperation agreement between the two units will work towards the same goals as prescribed under Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW dated June 16, 2022 on agriculture, farmers and rural areas until 2030, with a vision to 2045. More specifically, development towards an ecological agriculture, modern countryside, and civilized farmers.
Super Truong Phat's solutions meet the needs of ecological agriculture development, rural modernization and guide farmers to professionalize and become real owners.

Director of the National Agricultural Extension Center informed that through the cooperation agreement, the Center will consolidate the instructions at the local Agricultural Extension Centers to coordinate in building models of applying Super Truong Phat's HDPE technology in marine farming. Additionally, the local centers will organize forums to inform marine farming areas that can apply this technology.
“With this orientation, the Center is ready to share, accompany and coordinate with businesses so that there is no gap between the state and businesses for the goal of bringing the best and effective technology solutions to the farmers", emphasized Mr. Le Quoc Thanh.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Quoc Chinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Super Truong Phat Plastic Group proposed that immediately after signing the cooperation agreement, the two units need to promptly implement specific tasks to help farmers and fishermen gain access to the most effective technologies, mechanisms and policies.
The National Agricultural Extension Center and Super Truong Phat will cooperate on an equal basis to work towards the sustainable development of the aquaculture industry.
Namely, the National Agricultural Extension Center will promote the development of domestic and international models, programs and projects; technology transfer; introduce environmentally friendly sustainable aquaculture technology solutions provided by Super Truong Phat in accordance with the laws and regulations.

The National Agricultural Extension Center will strengthen capacity building and technical training in applying technology provided by Super Truong Phat in aquaculture; disseminate and promote to raise farmers' awareness regarding the use of Super Truong Phat's input products through agricultural extension events and communication channels.
The Center will also support building a database related to marine farming activities, sharing information, collecting feedbacks from partners and experts; sharing the results of cooperation with stakeholders and encouraging the nationwide agricultural extension system to participate in trade promotion activities.

Moreover, Super Truong Phat will participate in domestic and international models, programs, projects and events organized by the National Agricultural Extension Center in relation to aquaculture activities, using aquatic materials and technological solutions provided by Super Truong Phat with appropriate investment, bringing high efficiency to aquaculture producers and farmers.
The company will participate in the joint coordination of cooperation activities between the two units as well as mobilize the participation of other stakeholders to participate in the cooperation process.
Super Truong Phat is currently deploying infrastructure for mrine farming and aquaculture from sustainable green materials such as HDPE and composite materials in coastal provinces including Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Khanh Hoa, Kien Giang, Ninh Thuan and so on. These infrastructures are certified to be environmentally friendly and have a lifespan of 30 to 50 years depending on the material and culture environment.
