Fisheries Information Centre under the General Department of Fisheries has issued a report on the number of fishing vessels violating maritime boundaries in June 2021.

Implementing the task of providing public services and products to monitor fishing vessels, the Fisheries Information Center reported the results of monitoring and processing data to monitor fishing vessels that crossed the allowed maritime boundary and those that lost connection signal for over 10 days in June 2021.

Specifically, seven Vietnamese fishing vessels were detected to cross the allowed maritime boundary. The Fisheries Information Center issued 7 notices for 7 ships in 3 provinces of Binh Thuan, Kien Giang and Tien Giang; however, it has received only a reply document.
