(VAN) The sugarcane industry has bottlenecks that need to be resolved for stable and sustainable development, as shared by Dr. Cao Anh Duong, Director of the Sugarcane Research Institute (SRI).
(VAN) To revive sugarcane in Khanh Hoa, it is mandatory to improve productivity and synchronize mechanization to reduce costs. At the same time, harmonize benefits between farmers and businesses.
(VAN) An Khe Sugar Factory carries out four major programs to develop the raw material area, including mechanization, chemical transformation, biological transformation, and optimization in management.
(VAN) The Tuyen Quang sugarcane industry has implemented many preferential policies to pull farmers back to sugarcane after many years of serious decline in the area.
(VAN) Closely linking with farmers to build raw material areas and developing environmentally friendly circular production helped Son La Sugar Company overcome difficulties.

(VAN) In recent years, sugarcane has given farmers in the Dong Gia Lai area a full life thanks to abundant income. Sugarcane has affirmed its position on this land.
(VAN) During the period when the sugarcane industry was struggling, sugarcane prices plummeted, farmers turned their backs on sugarcane, and the number of sugar factories and raw sugarcane areas nationwide decreased by half.
(VAN) In nearly 10 years, the sugarcane growing area in Thanh Hoa province decreased by approximately 2.5 times. Many households have converted to growing cassava and many other crops.
(VAN) Sugarcane is the staple crop of farmers in Khanh Hoa province, with a total area previously of about 20,000 hectares, but now only more than 7,000 hectares remain.
(VAN) Although the price of raw sugarcane purchased in Khanh Hoa province in the 2023–2024 crop year is higher than in the previous crop year, farmers are still not happy with their harvest.
(VAN) Krong Pa has developed a large-scale specialized sugarcane cultivation area with intensive and proactive irrigation, yielding as high as 140 tons per hectare in some places, which is double the yield of other localities.
(VAN) Many areas in Nghe An province reported a record high yield and selling price during this year's sugarcane harvest season.
(VAN) This year, sugarcane prices have increased compared to last year, but sugarcane growers get little profit due to the sharp rise in materials prices, especially fertilizer.
