(VAN) Quang Nam province is the first locality approved to implement the pilot project on forest carbon credit business, but after 3 years, the province has still not been able to implement it.
(VAN) REDD+ projects have long been touted as a climate change solution. However, a UC Berkeley study funded by Carbon_Market_Watch reveals that only 1 out of every 13 credits represents a real emissions reduction.
(VAN) RoK anticipates that the initiative will be implemented in Vietnam on a national and enterprise scale in the near future.
(VAN) The carbon market will have the 2020 Law on Environmental Protection as the base. The carbon credit trade mechanism however is still in the initial steps.
