(VAN) Australia's import of Chinese wooden furniture fell sharply in the first month of this year, while the purchase of Vietnam’s furniture increased.
(VAN) Wooden furniture exports to the UK sees excellent growth this year and Vietnam ranks third among the suppliers to this market.
(VAN) The import turnover from Vietnam reached US$ 262.3 million in 7 months, an increase of 70.1% over the same period last year, and accounted for 17.6% of the total import value of Canada.
(VAN) In the first two quarters of 2021, exports of wood and wood products of Vietnam grew well. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, exports turnover faces a strong turndown in the third quarter.
(VAN) Thriving throughout 2015-2020, Vietnam's wooden furniture export has accounted for a significant proportion of the world's wooden furniture market and is listed as the third-largest export market of this kind.
In the first month of 2021, while exports of many agricultural products faced difficulties due to the shortage of containers, wood exports continued to grow strongly and reached over US$1 billion.
This is the first time for Vietnam’s wooden furniture to occupy the number one position in the America's market.
