Today Nov 9, the North recorded a slight increase in live pig price in some cities and provinces.
Hung Yen and Vinh Phuc shared the same increase of VND 1,000 per kilogram to reach VND 68,000 per kilogram. This is the highest purchase price recorded in the North today.
The price at many localities stay unchanged compared to yesterday such as Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, reaching VND 67,000 per kilogram. The price for both Tuyen Quang and Ha Nam was VND 66,000 per kilogram.
As such, live pig price on Nov 9 in the North ranged from VND 66,000 to VND 68,000 per kilogram.
Today Nov 9, live pigs in the Central region and Highlands was purchased at VND 72,000 to VND 73,000 per kilogram.
The purchase price in Nghe An increased by VND 1,000 – VND 2,000 per kilogram, up to VND 69,000 per kilogram while the price in Khanh Hoa reached a bit higher level of VND 72,000 per kilogram.
A decrease of VND 1,000 per kilogram to VND 71,000 per kilogram was for Quang Nam.
As such, live pig price on Nov 9 in Central Vietnam ranged from VND 67,000 to VND 74,000 per kilogram.
Live pig price on Nov 9 was adjusted from VND 1,000 to VND 2,000 today.
Dong Thap saw an increase of VND 2,000 per kilogram to VND 77,000 per kilogram. The purchase price in Ca Mau was VND 76,000 per kilogram, up to VND 1,000 per kilogram compared to yesterday.
Many localities continued to maintain yesterday purchase price of VND 73,000 per kilogram such as Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Tay Ninh. A bit higher price of VND 74,000 – VND 75,000 per kilogram was offered for Ho Chi Minh city, Can Tho, Hau Giang and Bac Lieu.
As such, live pig price on Nov 9 in the South ranged from VND 72,000 to VND 78,000 per kilogram.
